NON-IMMIGRANT O – FOREIGNERS WISHING TO ACCOMPANY SPOUSE OR FAMILY MEMBERS WORKING, STUDYING, OR LIVING IN THAILAND

Document Requirements:

  1. Passport or travel document with a validity of no less than 6 months
  2. One copy of passport
  3. One completed application form
  4. Two recent passport-sized (4 x 6 cm) photographs taken within the last 6 months     
  5. Evidence of travel to Thailand e.g. plane ticket     
  6. Evidence of financial flow (bank statement) over the past 6 months, with adequate finance of at least 800 USD 
  7. A company or school's guarantee letter addressed to the Royal Thai Embassy in Ankara, stating that the applicant is a spouse or family member of those working or studying in Thailand
  8. A copy of passport pages of those working or studying in Thailand. The passport pages should include a personal data page and those with Thai visa.
  9. A copy of Thai Work Permit or Student I.D. of the spouse/family in Thailand
  10. A copy of marriage certificate (For spouse)
  11. A copy of birth certificate (For parents/children)
  12. The Embassy officers reserve the right to request additional documents

  2. Holders of this visa type are entitled to stay in Thailand for a maximum period of 90 days. Application for an extension of stay may be lodged at the Immigration Bureau and may be granted such extension for a period of one year from the date of the first entry to Thailand
