NON-IMMIGRANT B -- FOREIGNERS WHO WISH TO WORK IN THAILAND (FOR CERTAIN NATIONALITIES)
Document Requirements
- Passport or travel document with a validity of no less than 6 months
- Three copies of passport
- Three copies of completed application form
- Three recent passport-sized (4 x 6 cm) photographs of the applicant taken within the past 6 months
- Three copies of evidence of travel to Thailand e.g. air ticket ***IMPORTANT NOTE***: In case your visa application is approved later than your flight schedule, please bring us your latest flight schedule when you come to pick up the visa
- Three copies of evidence of financial flow over the past 6 months, with adequate finance of at least 800 USD
- Three copies of accommodation reservation in Thailand
- Three copies of the letter of invitation from the employing company in Thailand, indicating job position, salary, periods with specified dates of employment
- Three copies of the letter of approval from the Ministry of Labour. To obtain this letter, the applicant’s prospective employer in Thailand is required to submit Form WP3 at the Office of Foreign Workers Administration, Department of Employment, Ministry of Labour Tel. +662-245-2745, or at the Provincial Employment Office in his or her respective province. - Three copies of Curriculum Vitae (CV) showing working experience and evidence showing the applicant’s education level
- Three copies of previous visas issued by Thailand and other countries (if any)
- A copy of residence permit in Turkey (if any)
***All applicants residing in the Republic of Azerbaijan, Georgia, North Macedonia, and Turkmenistan and wishing to pay the visa application fee via international wired transfer, must attach the original copy of the consular service payment via bank transfer to other required documents and submit to the Embassy. Remarks:
- After submission, the applicant can get their passport back. The Royal Thai Embassy will inform the applicant by email when the visa is approved. Then the applicant has to contact DHL to send their passport to the Embassy and collect it back when the visa has been affixed to their passport.
- The Applicant must endorse every page of the submitted copies of the documents.
- Copies of company documents must be signed by the Board of Directors or authorised managing director and affixed the seal of the company. Documents in foreign languages must be translated into Thai and must be notarised by notary public or by the applicant’s diplomatic or consular mission
- An alien who receives a Non-Immigrant visa can work in Thailand once he or she is granted a work permit. An alien in violation of the Immigration Act B.E. 2522 (1979) concerning taking up employment without a work permit or the Royal Decree B.E. 2522 (1979) concerning holding employment in certain restricted occupations and professions shall be prosecuted and imprisoned or fined, or shall face both penalties.
