Standard Procedure for Entry Application for Non-Thai Nationals
Who Are Spouses and Family Members of Thai Nationals

As per Clause 3 (1) of the Regulation issued under Section 9 of the Emergency Decree on Public Administration in Emergency Situations B.E. 2548 (No.1), an exempted person,
as prescribed pertaining to necessity by the Prime Minister or Chief Official responsible for remedying the emergency situation, may be allowed to enter into the Kingdom of Thailand.
In this regard, a non-Thai national spouse or children of a Thai national may apply for Certificate of Entry (COE) to enter Thailand.
The applicant’s request will be considered on a case-by-case basis in views of their urgency and necessity. The issuance of COE is subject to approval by Thai authorities concerned and the Embassy has no authority to approve COE.
