Thailand ranks 31st place in the "Global Competitiveness Report for 2014-2015" and 10th place in Asia. Thailand used to rank at 38th place in 2011-2012 and 37th place in 2013-2014. The recent report has indicated that the country's economy is continuously improving. Even tough Thailand had to deal with political instability in the recent past, its macro-economic environment remain as the core foundation. As a result, it is proven that Thailand has the upper hand in global economics.
