In commemoration of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, Ms. Noeleen Hayzer, Under-Secretary of the United Nations and Executive Secretary of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) and H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs co-wrote the article on the regional cooperation on prevention of natural disaster, "Remembering the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami: Transforming Shared Vulnerabilities through Better Preparedness".
