NON-IMMIGRANT ED -- FOREIGNERS WHO WISH TO STUDY IN THAILAND

Document Requirements

  1. Passport or travel document with a validity of not less than 6 months
  2. 1 passport copies     
  3. 1 completed application forms.     
  4. 2 recent passport-sized photographs (4 x 6 cm) taken within the past 6 months     
  5. Evidence of travel to Thailand e.g. air ticket     
  6. Evidence of financial flow and adequate finance at least 800 USD over the past 6 months.     
  7. Recommendation letter addressed to the Royal Thai Embassy, Ankara
  8. Letter of acceptance from the concerned academic institute/organisation
  9. For those wishing to study in a Private institution, an official letter from the Ministry of Education of Thailand, or other sub-authorities concerned, approving the enrolment of foreign students and a copy of registration certificate of the concerned academic institute are required
  10. Academic record and the Student ID (if currently studying)
  11. For those wishing to attend seminar, or training session, or internship,  a recommendation letter from the concerned organisation addressed to the Embassy is also required
  12. Embassy officers reserve the rights to request additional documents as deemed necessary

Remarks:

  1. Applicant must endorse on each and every page of the submitted copies of documentation.
  2. Holder of this type of visa is entitled to stay in Thailand for a maximum period of 90 days. Appliant may apply for an extension of stay at the Office of the Immigration Bureau and may be granted such extension for a period of one year from the date of first entry into Thailand.
  3. IMPORTANT: Course schedule condition for Non-Immigrant ED

         3.1 Less than five months course: no less than 4 days / week, no less than 2 hours / day

         3.2 More than five months course: no less than 5 days / week, no less  than 5 hour / day
