On 27 September 2014, H.E. General Tanasak Patimapragorn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand delivered his speech at the 69th Session of the United Nations General Asembly . The speech served to highlight not only  Thailand's commitment in implementing a Transformative Post - 2015 Development Agenda and active role in advancing global issues but also Thailand's commitment towards becoing an real and functioning democracy.
