NON-IMMIGRANT B -- FOREIGNERS WHO WISH TO WORK IN THAILAND (FOR GENERAL NATIONALITIES)
Document Requirements
- Passport or travel document with a validity of no less than 6 months
- One copy of passport
- One copy of completed application form
- Two passport-sized (4 x 6 cm) photographs of the applicant taken within the past 6 months
- Letter of invitation from the employing company in Thailand, indicating job position, salary, and periods with specified dates of employment
- Letter of approval from the Ministry of Labour. To obtain this letter, the applicant’s prospective employer in Thailand is required to submit Form WP3 at the Office of Foreign Workers Administration, Department of Employment, Ministry of Labour Tel. +662-245-2745, or at the Provincial Employment Office in his or her respective province. - Curriculum Vitae (CV) showing working experience and evidence showing the applicant’s education level
- Copy of residence permit in Turkey (if any)
***All applicants residing in the Republic of Azerbaijan, Georgia, North Macedonia, and Turkmenistan and wishing to pay the visa application fee via international wired transfer, must attach the original copy of the consular service payment via bank transfer to other required documents and submit to the Embassy. Remarks:
- The applicant must endorse every page of the submitted copies of documents.
- An alien who receives a Non-Immigrant visa can work in Thailand once a work permit is granted. An alien in violation of the Immigration Act B.E. 2522 (1979) concerning taking up employment without a work permit or the Royal Decree B.E. 2522 (1979) concerning holding employment in certain restricted occupations and professions shall be prosecuted and imprisoned or fined, or shall face both penalties.
